Post by Paddy Casey » Sun Apr 20, 2008 8:04 pm

Executions at Ennis on April 27th 1831: Andrew and James O'Loghlen, brothers, for burglary and robbery at Ardmore, and Michael Guerin for the same crime at Ballygriffy. "......Had the county evinced any improvement or appearance of tranquillity, the lives of those men would probably have been spared" (Freeman's Journal and Daily Commercial Advertiser (Dublin, Ireland), Saturday, April 30, 1831).
