O'Loughlin-Thynne duel (1787) - O'Loughlin loses

In a duel fought at the racecourse of Ennis on 8th December 1787 between Dr O'Loughlin and Mr Thynne the former received a ball in his body and died immediately (The Times, Saturday, Dec 22, 1787; pg. 3; Issue 947).
