For those coming to this forum in search of records of their Clare family roots the Local Studies Centre of the Clare County Library has posted a very useful list of tips for tracing one's family tree.

It's all there on one page, systematically presented, predigested, very readable and with masses of links to the key databases. For the genealogically indecisive it even begins with a Where do you Start?
