Hi Bernie,

Have you had a look around the Clare Library website at http://www.clarelibrary.ie for things about your family ?

If you go to http://www.clarelibrary.ie/eolas/coclar ... ioners.htm for example you will find a Michael Dolan listed as a writing clerk and if you go to http://www.clarelibrary.ie/eolas/coclar ... d30_17.htm you will find a Dolan family in Ennis in 1901. They are possibly a part of the family which didn't emigrate and there's lots of other stuff there on Dolans and Tierneys. Definitely worth a visit.

Paddy
