Post by Paddy Casey » Wed Apr 02, 2008 8:09 pm

Attached is an image of a letter written on 23-Mar-1771 by the High Sheriff, Grand Jury and Freeholders of Clare to Sir Lucius O'Brien expressing their appreciation of the efforts he is making on their behalf at this Critical Time (sic). It appeared in the Public Register or The Freeman's Journal (Dublin, Ireland), Thursday, April 11, 1771; Issue 97.

The list of signatories is long. You may find someone you know there.
