Flannerys From Ballymalone

Post by tareyton » Mon Dec 31, 2007 3:14 pm

Wondering if anyone has any info on the Flannery Family from Ballymalone that appears in the 1901 Census. I believe that they might be the link to my Family here in the US.

My Gr Gr Grandfather was Michael Flannery (we believe he was from Ballymalone). He had a brother Hugh who also immigrated. We think his other siblings names were Patrick, James, Katie and Mary. He married a Catherine Conroy (in the US) she was from Armaugh Town of Clantygora or Conchagora. They lived on the West Side of Manhattan NY. Michael was born in 1879+- (his grave stone says 1879).

Thanks

James

Update from my Last post. I am now pretty certain That The James Flannery and Bridget Flannery listed in the 1901 Census for Ballymalone are Michael Flannerys parents. I confirmed this via Michaels death certificate. All the other siblings names match.

Bridgets maiden name was Sullivan. If anyone has any info on the Flannerys or Sullivans from this area it would be much appreciated.
