Last year I received valuable assistance from this forum on the above people. I am hoping to be in County Clare in August this year with a day set aside to do some research. Listers narrowed Ennis, Clare and Feakle as possibilities of places of residence of these my ggreat grandparents. They were married before they sailed to South Australia leaving Plymouth on 14 Oct 1855 so I imagine the wedding occured just before they left. (all children born here)
My question is: where would I begin to look for their marriage details? I know this is like looking for a needle in a haystack but I would like to experience the Irish way! I could also look for a professional to complete the search if there was a chance it would be worthwhile keeping looking.
Any advice much appreciated,
