Re: rootsireland.ie
I have used this site and found some usefull records I agree €5 is a bit steep especially with the currency conversion rates it cost me more. Some I have taken a punt and got a record I was looking for others have been of no use. Being a transcript and not an original record doesn't help in some cas...

Re: Stenson and Gurnell, Sixmilebridge County Clare

There are various Catalogues of Graduates which show only names, degrees and dates awarded. They include three St...

Re: Stenson and Gurnell, Sixmilebridge County Clare
In homage to DeWitt Gurnell, the kindly senior gentleman who taught me to play fife (similar to a tin whistle) and march in his Drum and Fife Corps back in my hometown of Rhinebeck NY, I did a bit of Googling and can provide some leads for your research. Since your Stenson and Gurnell lines held pr...

Re: Stenson and Gurnell, Sixmilebridge County Clare
Have you checked the pamphlet by Niall Arthur Johnston produced to mark the tercentary of Kilpeacon Parish Church a few years ago? There are Stenson graves in the Sixmilebridge churchyard - the old church there is now the local library. I will try to get the inscriptions and post them here. No I ha...

Re: Stenson and Gurnell, Sixmilebridge County Clare

That is about the extent of the information I have on her. It doesn't even list her given name. It als...
