Re: Memorial cards

Hello all. We had a section under 'Donated Material' on the Genealogy main page called 'Graveyard Inscriptions and Mortuary Cards'. In response to a recent post by MOD I have now split this in two, creating a separate section for Mortuary/Memorial Cards . As always, Clare County Library welcomes don...

Chapters 3 to 5 of the Delahunty Family History (donated by Catherine Delahunty, Dunedin, New Zealand,) deal extensively with the Francy Hynes murder.

Hello Jim. The original Ennis website at http://www.ennis.ie is indeed gone. It was a product of the Information Age Town project, and the photographs were available at http://gallery.ennis.ie. Gabrielle,
to my knowledge "The Other Clare" has never been published on the web. A list of contents for Volumes 1 to 27 is available at http://www.xs4all.nl/~tbreen/Journals/Clare.html.

Re: NIAH website: houses of Clare, aerial photography

Thank you for this info, Paddy. We've added a link to the NIAH from our Archaeology page, and we’ll be adding individual links from individual pages in that section to individual pages of the NIAH. The aerial photos (combined with the maps) are really useful. Clare Admin
