To find a particular parish, or townland, or town or village (or indeed Barony or island) on the website click on the Places and Placenames link (http://www.clarelibrary.ie/eolas/coclare/places/places.htm) on the website homepage. The whole website is based on the theme of 'place', i.e. County Clare...

Re: A comprehensive listing of Clare emigrants
Paddy, Clare County Library will be very happy to provide 'administration backup' for this project. We'll create a new page for it, similar to what we did for the Tithe Applotment Books Project (http://www.clarelibrary.ie/eolas/coclare/genealogy/tithe_applot/tab_index.htm). I've been talking with Ra...

Re: County Clare electoral registers
I am reliably informed that Clare archives (http://www.clarelibrary.ie/eolas/archiv ... _index.htm) have 49 electoral registers dating variously from 1934 to 1983. They can be made available for consultation in the Local Studies Centre by prior arrangement. Clare Admin

Re: Can someone fix the date on this web server?
Our colleagues in Nova Scotia have fixed the problem. The server was three days out of date, showing the 27th of September. Right time, wrong date. This has been corrected and now the forum is showing the right date and time. We are not sure what caused this to happen on the server, but we'll be kee...

Re: Can someone fix the date on this web server?
Apologies to all. We noticed a problem with the dates and rebooted the server earlier today. It doesn't seem to have fixed it so we'll have another go on Monday. We need to upgrade to a new version of the software at any rate. Clare Admin
