Re: Researching Family of Andrew Donnellan and Mary Connole
Just came across this post today and thought I would add my two cents worth. There are two Corrin addresses referenced in Kilmaley Parish records. There is an area sometimes called Corrin, which is actually the townland of Carncreagh, Furroor. Carncreagh is sometimes listed as Corrin Cree, and vario...

Re: Six Co. Clare Fenians (I.R.B.) remembered by John Devoy
There was only one Tierney baptized in Kilmaley Parish. Oddly enough his name was Patrick and he was baptized on March 15, 1835. Son of John Tierney and Bridget Hehir. His sponsors were John and Mary O'Connor.
I thought it was interesting that Tierney and O'Connor appear in the baptism.

Re: Cullina, Union of Killadsart
The townland is in Killofin Parish in the Kiladysert district. It is spelled Cullina in the Tithe Applotments in 1834 and Cullenagh in the Griffith's in 1855, where Sinon McAuliffe is present. http://www.clarelibrary.ie/eolas/coclare/genealogy/tithe_applot/killofin_tab.htm http://www.clarelibrary.ie...

Re: John Kearse of Cahermore, Kilmaley
Wouldn't that make John in Oz a brother to Patrick, so Patrick's sons would be nephews, and both Patrick and John could be sons of John. Having said that, I have seen great uncles also listed simply as uncles. It would seem that Patrick Keirce (son of John) was born in Kilmihil Parish. Glanmore and ...

Re: John Kearse of Cahermore, Kilmaley
So one more bit of information. Pat Kearse and Mary Fitzmartin were married on February 11, 1873. He was 35, and she was 17. They were married in Kilmihil Parish. Pat's father is John in Cregg, Kilmeedy (Unsure of where this is). Mary is the daughter of Peter of Glaumore (which I also can't locate)....

Re: MCNAMARA'S OF FORTVILLE, LISPUCKANE, KILMALEY
Hello Bob, Did you notice a Kilmaley marriage on April 17, 1883, between a Henry McGrath and Catherine Lynch. It appears this family is living in Drumillehy, in Kilmacduane Parish, in the 1901 and 1911 census. Baptism records are not published for that parish after 1880, so no additional information...
