tbh, Your history of Immigration from Clare to Wigan is wonderful. I have spent many, many hours researching my family. My great great grandfather Michael O'Brien was married Bridget Harney (maybe Hartney) in 1854 at St. John's in Wigan. We have the official marriage certificate but no church record...
