I am researching the corrys from Clounlaheen area. Although I dont have this person in my tree doesn't mean he doesn't belong in it. I can share info if you think he's from this area.

Re: Corry from Clounlaheen
Today I met a friend who comes from Clounlaheen, Mullagh, Ennis, Co. Clare - she told me that the Corry family are still there. You also had a post re Egans of Cahermurphy, Kilmihil. If you go to http://www.Kilmihil.com you will see details of a new booklet - ' Kilmihil Revisited ' - I think it cos...

Re: John Egan (jun) of Kilrush m. 1862 Anne Kelly of Glasclo
I don't see any obvious connection between Michael Egan of Cahermurphy (m.1870) and John Egan (sen) of Kilrush (first known child baptised 1836). John (sen) did have a son Michael, christened in Kilrush on 20 May 1842. Your Michael's civil marriage record will give you his father's name and occupat...

I am researching a Mary (or Margaret?) Corry that married a Michael Egan and lived in Cahermurphy, Kilmihil, if that's any help to you.

Re: Corry from Clounlaheen
Here you go, If you get the civil record, I would be interested in Michael's townland and father's name. I did not find any children born of this marriage in the parish. 29 Jan 1870 Michael Egan & Margaret Corry Witnesses: James Corry & John Ryan Priest: P. Moran Slan, Kevin J. O'Brien What parish ...
